Yamaha R-N600A stereo network receiver has many advantages of the older models of the series, but is offered at a noticeably more affordable price. On the logically designed front panel there are all the controls that may be necessary for everyday use of the device. In addition to the usual tone controls for low and high frequencies and stereo balance, there is a knob for adjusting the depth of tone compensation. It is required to equalize the perceived tonal balance of music sound when listening at low volume. If desired, all additional circuitry in the signal path can be bypassed by using Pure Direct mode.
Key Features:
- Authentic Hi-Fi quality with Top-ART mechanical structure and pure direct mode
- ESS SABRE ES9010K2M Ultra DAC for superior S/N performance
- MusicCast lets you stream from your favorite music services
- USB front-panel terminal and network capability allow high-performance DSD 11.2 MHz native playback and 384 kHz playback
- Subwoofer output for external subwoofer connection
- Special phono input terminals to enjoy your vinyl record collection
- Optical terminal to get your TV sound with Hi-Fi quality
The stereo receiver implements the proprietary ToP-ART concept, which provides the most natural and accurate reproduction of songs. Yamaha R-N600A chassis protects its circuits from vibrations, and amplifiers on discrete components guarantee good compatibility even with acoustics with complex impedance characteristics. It is also worth noting the powerful power supply with filtering capacitors of considerable capacity.
The stereo receiver is equipped with two optical and two coaxial inputs. The analog section of Yamaha R-N600A is quite unusual - in addition to two line inputs and connectors of the built-in MM phono recorder, there are two pairs of inputs/outputs for connecting tape recorders or other devices. Listening to music is also possible with a dual-band tuner with precise automatic tuning. For additional bass enhancement, the system has an output to an active subwoofer.
The streaming section of the Yamaha R-N600A allows you to play file collections on available network drives via DLNA or utilize MusicCast or AirPlay technologies. Another source of music in the stereo receiver is the USB connector for connecting audio file drives located on the front panel. The DAC in the Yamaha R-N600A is based on the ES9010K2M chip. It provides support for High resolution audio with parameters 32 bits / 384 kHz and DSD 11.2 MHz. The model has Bluetooth, which can work both for receiving and transmitting signals to compatible devices.
