The A-S1200 uses a toroidal transformer, which is normally only found in flagship Hi-Fi components. This transformer offers superior performance and delivers perfect sound clarity. Combined with a set of high-end Hi-Fi features and components, the toroidal transformer successfully conveys the emotions inherent in the music to the listener.

The A-S1200, deservedly considered a premium Hi-Fi unit, utilizes the mechanical grounding concept inherited from the older A-S2200 and A-S3200 models.
