Active two-way concert sound system Turbosound iX15 is designed for both mobile applications and permanent/temporary installations.
Features:
- Active two-way concert sound system;
- 15" low mass coil LF driver and 1" titanium dome HF compression driver;
- DSP and Class D amplifier by KLARK TEKNIK for LF, A/B amplifier for HF;
- Bi-amp dual amplification scheme;
- Maximum power - 1000W;
- Remote control with iOS devices (iPhone, iPad);
- Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, range up to 35 meters outdoors;
- Built-in three-channel mixer;
- XLR/TRS combo inputs, XLR-M output for daisy-chaining.
It features a built-in DSP processor and Class D amplifier (using bi-amp technology where signals for low and all other frequencies are separately amplified) by KLARK TEKNIK. A/B amplifiers are used for the HF driver amplification. The DSP controls the built-in two-way equalizer, limiter, preset selection, crossover, and other parameters and effects.
Amplifiers of this class offer maximum energy efficiency, eliminating the need for heavy power blocks and massive radiators. This technology allows for designing and constructing very powerful products that are significantly lighter than their traditional counterparts, using less energy and protecting the environment. The device's main features also include Bluetooth connectivity and remote control with iOS devices.
The Turbosound iX15 cabinet consists of a 15-inch LF driver with low mass coil for quick response and a 1" titanium dome compression HF driver. The elliptical waveguide provides a dispersion of 75x55 degrees. It has a maximum power of 1000 Watts, providing a sound pressure level of up to 126 dB. The front grille is made of perforated steel with a powder coating. Built-in suspension points allow for hanging the sound system vertically or horizontally using M10 mounts.
The rear panel of the Turbosound iX15 features two main balanced combo inputs on TRS/XLR, with the input level adjustment of each controlled by a master knob. There is also an XLR-M output for sending a copy of the source signal to another speaker using a standard XLR cable. This allows for building multi-channel systems with iX series speakers. The universal push-button handle next to a large monochrome LCD display allows users to control sound levels, adjust equalizer settings, and activate frequency response presets or location-based settings.
