The Transrotor MAX vinyl player is equipped with a Rega RB 330 tonearm and a Uccello cartridge. It is virtually entirely made of metal.

The device allows for the installation of two tonearms (including two 12-inch tonearms) and choose a base for each. A round base made of polished aluminum slightly smaller in diameter than the main platter is used as the turntable. The base rests on three adjustable aluminum feet. The alignment construction consists of an aluminum part with a drilled center and a silicone support ring on the outer edge. The standard adjustment is done by thread.
Mounted to the turntable base is a massive insert with a bronze cup for the non-inverted bearing, the pulley of which is integrated with an aluminum sub-platter transitioning into the turntable spindle. On top of the base, the turntable has a wavy circular shape - this is Transrotor's proprietary method to influence resonance properties.
On the side of the turntable base, two massive metal pins are screwed in - bases are installed on them. The base itself is a massive metal upside-down cup, on top of which there is a platform with everything necessary to mount the tonearm. The arm mounting plate is attached to the guiding part by four screws, clamping the plate in the desired position. But before fixing the base, the distance corresponding to the tonearm parameters must be set.
The external motor transfers rotation to the sub-platter using a round belt. It is assembled in a sturdy aluminum housing, with a power button on the top panel. The motor pulley has two radii, meaning the rotation speed can be changed manually between 33.3 and 45 rpm by shifting the belt on the pulley.
In addition to the traditional motor placement next to the turntable, there is another unusual solution where the motor is placed under the base surface and passes through a hole intended for this purpose. A short belt is included for this setup.
The platter is machined from a solid piece of aluminum. The bottom, like the base, has a wavy circular shape. The disc is designed to work with a standard acrylic mat - the surface is covered with thin circular grooves to improve grip and reduce the contact area with the mat. The turntable comes with a standard aluminum clamp.
