The Transrotor Max Nero offers the same great design and features as the previous model but is made from new materials. Instead of aluminum, this model uses POM material, which is a technical thermoplastic.
The Transrotor Max Nero allows the motor to be placed anywhere around the turntable. It is an entry-level model that still allows for the installation of two tonearms.

The turntable allows for the installation of two tonearms (including two 12-inch tonearms) and choosing a base for each. The turntable uses a round thermoplastic base slightly smaller in diameter than the main disc. The base sits on three adjustable aluminum feet. The assembly is made of aluminum with a drilled center and a silicone support ring on the outer edge. Standard adjustment is done by threads.
A solid insert with a bronze cup of a non-inverted bearing is attached to the base of the turntable, with a pulley that is integrated with the sub-disc transitioning into the spindle of the turntable. The turntable's base has a wavy ring shape on top, which is Transrotor's signature method to influence resonance properties.
The external motor transfers rotation to the sub-disc with a round belt. It is assembled in a hefty aluminum case, with a power button on the top panel. The motor pulley has two radii, so the rotation speed can be changed manually between 33.3 and 45 revolutions per minute by moving the belt on the pulley.
In addition to the traditional motor placement next to the turntable, there is also another unusual solution where the motor is placed under the base surface and passes through a dedicated hole. In this case, a short belt is included in the kit.
Signature Cartridge
The Transrotor Uccello is a MM cartridge with a high output level and a specially sharpened diamond needle, designed based on the Goldring G1000 series with additional selection specifically for Transrotor. The Transrotor Uccello provides voluminous sound without amplifying high frequencies and will deliver true listening pleasure.
Rega RB 220
The Rega RB 220 is an advanced entry-level tonearm that comes with the updated Planar 2 turntable. This tonearm is a further development of the RB 110, providing more refined and rich sound. The pivot bearing assembly features specially designed polymer bearings. The RB 220 uses a solid aluminum tube for the arm, carefully crafted to optimize performance and reduce the load on Rega's ultra-low friction polymer bearings.
Each tonearm is carefully hand-assembled using special Rega tools and torque settings to ensure optimal performance. This approach provides perfect tracking and maximizes the amount of information the cartridge can extract from the record surface.
