In the external look of the Transrotor Leonardo 40/60, the silky-matte 60 millimeter disc immediately catches the eye. For over 20 years, Transrotor has been using acrylic alloys for its turntables. The acrylic-vinyl composite obtained by casting is perfectly suited to the vinyl record. The huge professional experience for which Transrotor specialists are famous allows achieving excellent results in processing this truly perfect material. During operation, thermal expansions occur at the junction of the disc with the metal bearing.
To eliminate warping, the disc blank is placed in a vacuum furnace. Subsequent annealing in a drying chamber allows even the smallest internal material stresses to be removed. The final technological operation involves fitting the disc with a hydrodynamic bearing. As a result, the disc-bearing assembly operates completely silently. The disc with the record harmonize with each other so well, as if they came out of the same casting mold.
The recognizable design, luxurious sound in the basic configuration, and the superb proprietary TMD drive with a hydrodynamic magnetic bearing that significantly reduces friction. The model meets all the needs of an advanced music lover and rightfully occupies a place in the company's lineup.
