The Transrotor Dark Star Reference turntable is completely black. The Reference version has been upgraded to a two-story construction by installing an intermediate plate with isolating nodes.

The turntable features a double chassis (2 x 30mm) and a 60mm support disc. The double legs and motor housing are made of POM (polyoxymethylene) polymer coated with matte lacquer. The model provides a more stable and deeper soundstage, with better image localization.
The Transrotor Dark Star Silver Reference is a manual vinyl player with a synchronous motor and belt drive with 33/45 RPM speeds. It is a versatile player where the main bearing and disc are the basic elements. The plinth is designed for Transrotor TR or SME tonearms, but it can accommodate any other 9-inch model. Power is supplied from an external block with stable output voltage.
The player weighs over 30 kg. The platform, disc, and tonearm base are also made of a polymer with damping properties between acrylic and aluminum. Round height-adjustable silicone rubber supports protect the device from external mechanical impacts. The main bearing in the Transrotor Dark Star Reference is the same as in the Transrotor Zet 1 and 3 models.
The Transrotor Uccello is a MM type cartridge with a high output level and a specially sharpened diamond stylus.
