The player has a double 30mm chassis and a support disc with a diameter of 60mm. The double legs and motor housing are made of POM polymer, coated with a matte lacquer. This model stands out for its more stable and deep soundstage, as well as better image localization.
The Transrotor Dark Star Silver is a manual vinyl player with a synchronous motor and belt drive with speeds of 33/45 RPM. It is a versatile player where the main bearing and disc are fundamental elements. The plinth is adapted for Transrotor TR or SME tonearms, but can also accommodate any other 9-inch model. Power is supplied from an external unit with stable output voltage.
The player weighs over 30kg. The platform, disc, and tonearm base are also made of a polymer with damping properties between acrylic and aluminum. Round adjustable height silicone rubber supports protect the device from external mechanical influences. The main bearing in the Transrotor Dark Star is the same as in the Transrotor Zet 1 and 3 models.
The Transrotor Uccello is an MM cartridge with high output level and a specially sharpened diamond stylus.
