However, on the M81 model, the upper end of the frequency response is slightly rolled off back, giving a flatter overall frequency characteristic. This combination creates rich and clear sound, turning the microphone into an excellent tool for taming bright vocals and guitar sounds, as well as deep reproduction of percussion, wind instruments, and other high-frequency sound sources.
