The wideband physical construction of swiplan membranes does not require the use of digital crossovers and algorithmic solutions for artificial optimization of phase and frequency characteristics. For tasks where real-time room acoustics correction is required or desirable, most modern audio interfaces and monitor controllers provide the necessary hardware and software functions, offering broader and more flexible functionality compared to similar tools integrated into traditional studio monitors.
