Sony was inspired by professional concert audio systems to develop a unique line array diffuser that creates a linear sound source and evenly distributes sound energy in a wide space to better fill the room with sound. Thanks to the line array diffuser, the sound in front of and to the sides of the speaker spreads further, ensuring consistent sound quality. This means that everyone in the room can dance to the same music with the same quality. Unlike a conventional speaker, which concentrates most of the energy from the center of the cone, Sony's unique line array diffuser re-concentrates the sound through a narrow diaphragm. X-Balanced Speaker Unit Feature
