It also features the SENSO leather interface that allows users to control and customize speaker functions like volume, input selection, and connections.
Performance:
The Duetto crossover design incorporates four built-in amplifiers and high-quality speakers. This unique configuration delivers unmatched power and clarity in the world of wireless audio, especially at lower frequencies.
Each speaker features a dual-face design with a 0.7-inch silk dome tweeter and a 5.25-inch paper mass midrange driver. The speaker is housed in Sonus Faber's new "organic basket," designed to reduce vibration and airflow noise. Each speaker is powered by a pair of amplifiers - a 100W class A/B amplifier for the tweeter and a 205W class D amplifier for the midrange block.
Design:
The wooden lute-shaped body of the Duetto draws inspiration from musical instruments. The body and specially designed radiator ensure tone and musicality while avoiding internal resonance, creating Sonus Faber's signature natural sound.
Connections:
The Duetto is designed for both analog and digital worlds. Certified for Wi-Fi, Duetto offers all the essential connections to popular audio streamers like AirPlay, Chromecast, Tidal, Spotify, and Bluetooth. With HDMI and optical inputs, they easily connect to TVs, players, and active subwoofers. The built-in phono preamp allows you to connect your turntable and enjoy your vinyl collection with a new sound.
The Duetto features Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology for communication between the two speakers. Wireless transmission eliminates delays and interference from other home networks. This technology also ensures a wide frequency spectrum for high-speed data signal transmission.
Vinyl enthusiasts will appreciate the built-in MM phono preamp. And if you're not using analog inputs with a turntable, you can press a button to make them a standard AUX input for something like a CD player. Even if your TV doesn't have an HDMI ARC connection, you can still transmit your TV's sound to it using the Toslink optical input. For streaming services, Duetto offers Chromecast, Apple Airplay2, Bluetooth AptX HD, and built-in Tidal and Spotify connections. Roon is also available, pleasing Qobuz fans subscribed to Roon. Voice control fans will be pleased to know that Siri and Google Assistant are supported.
SENSO Technology:
Inherited from its predecessor Omnia, SENSO is a leather top panel that allows users to control and customize speaker functions like volume, input selection, and connections. The buttonless interface allows for easy control of playback and connection functions with a simple finger swipe.
