Simpleway Audio RE is a reamp, i.e. a “reverse direct box”. The device allows you to output a balanced audio signal from a sound card and connect it to a guitar/bass amplifier that has only a high impedance input. This allows you to pre-record a “raw” guitar sound and play it back through an amplifier without loss in quality for maximum variation during studio recording.
The balanced input for line-level audio from the audio interface is an XLR connector. It is equipped with Ground/Lift ground loop break function. The unbalanced output is made on a standard 1/4” Jack TS connector. A recessed Level control is provided for it. Due to the absence of active elements in the circuit, the device does not require power supply and works by “Plug and Play” technology. The case is made in the form of a durable steel construction with a colorful design.
