Compact preamp that connects directly to the housing of a ribbon or dynamic microphone.
Features:
- Frequency range: 10 Hz - 150 kHz (-03 dB);
- Gain: 20 dB;
- Impedance: 33 Ohms;
- Current consumption: 3.0 mA;
- Low distortion level;
- Connectors: 3-pin (XLR);
- 3-position gain switch: +10, +20, +30 dB;
- Maximum output level: 3.2 VRMS (0.0008% THD);
- Original discrete circuit.
The MP Mini provides optional amplification with record-low distortion levels. Users have access to several Gain modes depending on the required level of amplification: 20 dB preset (optional amplification adjustment inside the housing, switchable to 10, 20, 30 dB). The highest amplification will be useful when recording very quiet sound sources.
The MP Mini is the perfect way to amplify the weak signal of a passive microphone, virtually eliminating the possibility of interference. Additionally, this compact preamp acts as a "turbo mode" for the interface when its power is insufficient for quality recording. Thanks to the Class A amplifier and specially selected field-effect transistors, the MP Mini has the lowest self-noise level. Regardless of the load and power level, you will get a maximally linear sound without any coloration - clean amplification for your microphone.
The MP Mini does not work with preamps equipped with a transformer installed on the microphone input. Disconnect phantom power before connecting or disconnecting the MP Mini.
