The X1R Ribbon Microphone from sE Electronics is a passive ribbon microphone that features an aluminum ribbon element capable of handling SPLs up to 135 dB. The microphone's element is enclosed by Neodymium magnets and is housed is a chassis whose design is based on sE's X1 cardioid microphone. The X1R has a gentle high-frequency boost and a frequency response up to 16 kHz.
