SE Electronics X1S

The SE Electronics X1S is a condenser microphone equipped with a manually controlled capsule, a cardioid polar pattern, and a frequency range of 20 Hz-20 kHz with a maximum SPL of 160 dB. This versatile microphone is specially designed for recording with internal reorganization, which improves sensitivity and significantly reduces noise levels. Switches at -10 dB and -20 dB provide an extended dynamic range, allowing for a wide range of applications and close-miking techniques for the loudest instruments. Two selectable filters at 80 Hz or 160 Hz help eliminate low-frequency noise or rumble, as well as compensate for excessive bass (proximity effect) using close-miking methods. The all-metal frame provides effective protection against any electrical interference and noise. The X1S also comes with a microphone mount that fits any stand.

Unlike the cheap casings of some other "entry-level" microphones, the all-metal casing of the SE X1S provides effective suppression of any electrical interference and noise, and the high-quality finish ensures a great appearance for years to come.
