SE Electronics V Kick Drum Microphone
The SE Electronics V Kick is one of the most compact and versatile drum microphones available. It is designed for use with kick drums or other large drums where low-frequency energy is crucial. It can also be used with acoustic bass cabinets and floor toms.
This microphone attaches to the instrument using a special swivel mount, and its supercardioid capsule delivers the characteristic drum sound. Two switches on the back of the microphone allow for sound customization, ranging from warm and classic to modern and sharp.
The extremely low profile of the V Kick allows for easy placement outside or inside a drum shell. The XLR connector is located parallel to the bottom of the microphone, ensuring microphone cables remain at the same level as the mic stand.
The new DMC7 SB capsule features the same technology and functions found in the popular V7 and V7 X microphones, including a specialized aluminum voice coil. Internal wind protection effectively reduces unwanted pops and noise.
