Thanks to its complex class A design and specially selected high-quality field-effect transistors, SE ELECTRONICS' active linear preamps have significantly lower output impedance and almost half the noise of all others on the market. Furthermore, constant gain is maintained regardless of the connected load thanks to the eight switchable impedance settings of the DM2.

The input with ultra-high impedance offers eight switchable load impedance settings ranging from 50 ohms to 10 megohms, allowing the preamp to be adapted to a wide range of microphones (excluding condenser and active ribbon microphones).
