The RME Word Clock Module is an expansion board for HDSPe RayDAT, HDSPe AIO, and HDSP 9632. It offers a galvanically isolated word clock input and two outputs on BNC connectors. Both outputs have their own pre-buffered circuits, providing an extremely low level of jitter.
The input on the RME Word Clock Module can be easily terminated with a 75-ohm terminator on the case, implemented as a button. SteadyClock, which is part of the PCI motherboard, ensures excellent performance in all clock signal generation modes.
The highly effective jitter suppression of the RME Word Clock Module cleans up any clock signal, providing it as a reference clock signal on the two outputs. The module connects inside the case via a 10-pin connector with a flat cable leading to the main PCI card, without occupying any slots.
