The M-32 DA Pro II-D boasts impressive technical specifications, extremely low THD values, intelligent channel routing, and maximum ease of use. You get a full range of connectivity options, including 32 analog outputs, 64 Dante input/output channels, 128 MADI input/output channels, as well as word clock and MIDI input/output features. You can control the system directly from the front panel of the M-32 DA Pro II-D or configure it over the network using a user-friendly web interface. The RME M-32 DA Pro II-D is equipped with tri-color backlit channel indicators, peak/RMS meters, redundant power supplies, synchronization, ICC, protective locking, and an elegant dark mode. Engineers looking for a reliable solution for analog conversion and high-quality network sound processing will find limitless possibilities with the RME M-32 DA Pro II-D.
The M-32 Pro II series is designed to meet the high demands of professional studios, immersive audio installations, live sound systems, and industrial applications requiring a reliable solution for analog conversion with high-quality network sound processing. These new converters are available with 32 analog inputs or outputs, as well as Dante or AVB options to choose from four different models.
The new M-32 Pro II series, equipped with a 32-channel MADI input/output interface (coaxial and optical with an additional SPF module), improved features with extremely low THD values, intelligent channel routing, and innovative ease of use, truly meets modern requirements for exceptional sound quality performance.
Ideal solution for high-quality network sound processing.
The latest 32-channel M-32 Pro II is based on state-of-the-art high-resolution converter components and a fully balanced analog circuitry, providing a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB (A) with very low latency, making these converters class-leading. While the M-32 DA Pro II provides the same outstanding analog characteristics as its predecessor, the DA converter even improved THD +N to -111 dB. All models benefit from optimized impulse response characteristics at sampling rates of 88.2 kHz and above, minimizing signal distortion during conversion.
AVB Technology - 2 fully redundant network ports.
In addition to two MADI input/output interfaces with separate signal routing, the new M-32 DA Pro II and M-32 AD Pro II are equipped with an AVB interface based on open IEEE 802.1 and 1722.1 network standards, allowing 32 analog channels to be transmitted at a maximum sample rate of 192 kHz over a single Ethernet cable. When combined with external AVB switches, the new M series converters can be quickly, easily, and reliably integrated into more complex network structures thanks to comprehensive time-synchronous signal processing via AVB protocol. Overall, up to 128 audio channels can be transmitted and received via AVB with a frequency of 48 kHz (96 @ 96k, 64 @ 192k) in all streams.
RME offers an AVB device with two fully redundant network ports, developed in accordance with MILAN recommendations. RME AVB core strictly implements IEEE standards for streaming audio, detection, and management, enabling the detection and complete control of RME devices using any AVB controller while manufacturer-dependent control protocols become a thing of the past. Any signal coming into the M-32 Pro II can be directed and transmitted in stream mode over the network with fixed delay and guaranteed bandwidth - no switch configuration required!
Dante Interface with 2 fully redundant network ports
The M-32 AD Pro II-D features two fully redundant Dante network ports and integrates the Audinate Dante IP core on a specially designed RME FPGA platform for enhanced flexibility. Users can connect up to 64 audio channels from their computer to any of the analog and digital inputs/outputs of the M-32 via Dante Virtual Soundcard software (license purchased separately). This Dante model includes a network switch mode for connecting multiple devices together via the 2nd port.
Analog-level performance
To ensure maximum compatibility with a variety of analog equipment, the individual channels of M-32 AD Pro II and M-32 DA Pro II can operate at different line levels - each with full converter resolution. In addition to +19 dBu and +13 dBu, the new M series is one of the few solutions available on the market that also allows for operation with SMPTE recommendation +24 dBu at 0 dBFS.
