RME M-32 AD 32-Channel Analog-to-Digital Converter in ADAT/MADI
The already wide range of MADI products from RME has been expanded with high-class 16-channel and 32-channel converters. The M series converters are designed for integration in professional studios, live performances, as well as for use in television and radio broadcasting. The 32-channel M-32 AD converter performs analog-to-digital signal conversion into MADI and ADAT formats.
The fully symmetrical analog circuit ensures excellent signal-to-noise ratio and low signal distortion at different levels. The use of the latest conversion technologies provides not only a sampling rate of up to 192 kHz, but also a signal-to-noise ratio level of 116 dB on all channels. Additionally, the new limiter controller feature effectively protects the analog signal from overload. The device has MADI and ADAT inputs/outputs, 6.3 mm (TRS) analog inputs, MIDI remote control, and MIDI over MADI. The device can operate at different network voltages. The same specifications apply to the M-32 DA converter, which provides high-class 32-channel digital-to-analog conversion.
The new converters are simple and easy to use despite the many functions and capabilities. The combination of superior analog circuitry with the latest conversion chips and the excellent SteadyClock technology allows us to consider this converter as a next-generation device with incredibly low distortion levels and an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 118 dB.
