RME M-16 AD is a converter designed for integration into professional studios, for use during live performances, as well as for applications in television and radio broadcasting. The 16-channel converter RME M-16 AD performs analog-to-digital signal conversion into MADI and ADAT formats. The fully symmetrical analog circuit of RME M-16 AD guarantees excellent signal-to-noise ratio and low signal distortion at various levels.
The use of the latest conversion technologies in RME M-16 AD ensures not only a sampling frequency of up to 192 kHz, but also a signal-to-noise ratio of 116 dB on all channels. In addition, RME M-16 AD features limiter functions, providing effective protection for the analog signal from overloads. RME M-16 AD has MADI and ADAT inputs/outputs, 6.3 mm (TRS) analog inputs, MIDI remote control and MIDI over MADI. RME M-16 AD operates flawlessly at different network voltages.
The same characteristics apply to the M-16 DA converter, which provides high-quality 16-channel digital-to-analog conversion. RME M-16 AD is simple and convenient to use, despite the numerous functions and capabilities. The combination of superior analog circuitry with the latest conversion chips and the outstanding SteadyClock technology make RME M-16 AD a next-generation device with incredibly low distortion levels and an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 118 dB.
