ADI-2 series headphone outputs
Two headphone outputs are presented with TRS and mini jack connectors in parallel, and have completely separate control stages, which perfectly match low- and high-impedance headphones, guaranteeing clean sound regardless of the type of headphones used. The output power of the 3.5mm outputs is 90 mW. THD of both outputs has been improved to 10 dB, and the same preamplifiers used in the ADI-2 Pro are utilized. The output resistance has been reduced from 2 Ohms to 0.1 Ohms.
Enhanced microphone and line inputs
Completely new XLR connectors have been developed for the main inputs/outputs, which easily integrate into the housing and save space. Two digitally controlled preamplifiers have individually switchable 48 V phantom power. These circuits have a gain range of 76 dB with 1 dB step adjustment, including PAD with relay control, providing exceptional EIN performance (equivalent input noise), as well as protection against linear overload and sufficient gain even for microphones with the lowest level.
More professional level with SteadyClock FS
Data transfer rate is a very important indicator in digital audio. Unfortunately, it is not always stable. Babyface Pro FS features the SteadyClock FS synchronization scheme, similar to the ADI-2 Pro FS. It helps reduce jitter and achieve high-quality conversion, resulting in a deeper soundstage and signal clarity.
Mixing and routing with TotalMix FX and TotalMix Remote
Like the latest RME interfaces, Babyface Pro FS has a powerful digital mixer called TotalMix FX. It allows for completely independent routing and mixing of signals from inputs and sending them to physical outputs, creating unprecedented possibilities. Independent stereo submixes plus an extensive Control Room section offer unmatched monitoring capabilities and routing flexibility. Babyface Pro FS comes with TotalMix FX, available for Windows and Mac OS X, as well as an iOS version. This incredibly versatile software adds a flexible, 3-band parametric equalizer to all inputs and outputs. Reverb and delay FX are also available. Additionally, the latest TotalMix Remote software expands the capabilities of Babyface Pro FS, allowing for remote control via iOS, PC, or Mac.
Stable and easy to use
Babyface Pro FS has everything you need. The audio signals are clean and full. The audio path has been improved and is capable of working with high-level signals and has a wide dynamic range. Babyface Pro FS is easy to use, thanks to its intuitive and informative user interface, making it easy to access all functions and configuration modes.
Low-latency USB transmission and industry-leading stability
RME's development of technologies is part of their philosophy. RME was the first to achieve multi-channel audio transmission and professional performance via USB 2.0. The company pays great attention to developing reliable, stable, and regularly updated drivers for its products, as well as sound quality. Continuous software updates guarantee the relevance of the device for many years. RME Audio products are not dependent on third-party manufacturers, so users can use the latest operating systems without interruptions or delays.
