The RAAL-Requisite 1995 Immanis headphones are an updated version of the Magna. In comparison to the dual ribbon system of the Magna, the Immanis boasts three ribbons.
Features:
- Innovative True Ribbon technology
- Driver type: True-Ribbon R³ Driver
- Maximum sound pressure level: 118 dB
- Ribbon type: corrugated pure aluminum with Viscodamp viscosity damping "Silent Metal"
- Housing material: composite of fiberglass, aluminum, and American walnut veneer
The triple ribbon motor of the Immanis is designed to provide even better ability to reproduce deep bass, excellent dynamics, and a wide soundstage. This also leads to a sound pressure level of 118 dB. This was made possible by a large motor surface area and a specially designed low resistance of 0.057 Ohms.
The RAAL-Requisite 1995 Immanis headphones are also intended to work well with various amplifiers: they require only 2–6 W from a headphone amplifier or 8–25 W at 8 Ohms from a speaker amplifier. This flexibility combined with RCDI-32 ensures that the Immanis can deliver unparalleled sound quality.
The quality of the headphones is evident in their construction. A blend of fiberglass, aluminum, and a hard wax finish on American walnut veneer is used, accented by an elegant gold-plated grille. Comfort is also a key focus for the Immanis. The full-size headphones feature a suede-lined headband with a stylish diamond pattern and a gold-plated adjuster for easy size changes. Memory foam ear cushions are covered with lamb leather on the inside and perforated leather on the outside.
