Acrylic for Vinyl
Acrylic has always been among the materials used by Pro-Ject in their models. The first "acrylic" turntable was the Pro-Ject 6.9 Perspective, which was hugely successful. The 6PerspeX model has been in the company's catalog for over 15 years and continues to be one of its best models. The limited edition Perspective Final Edition was also a great success and sold out very quickly. These turntables are examples of how Pro-Ject combined the unique appearance and acoustic characteristics of acrylic. Developing a turntable with an acrylic chassis is a complex task, but Pro-Ject engineers have done it perfectly. The result is a beautifully sounding and looking device, quite affordable.
10-inch Tonearm
The Pro-Ject XA B (Pick it PRO B) turntable is equipped with a 10-inch aluminum tonearm with a massive support. Four bearings with an ultra-low friction coefficient ensure accurate and stable tracking. The aluminum base of the tonearm allows for azimuth and vertical tracking angle (VTA) adjustments.
Aluminum Support Disk
The cast aluminum support disk of the Pro-Ject XA B (Pick it PRO B), weighing 1.7 kg, is precisely balanced for smooth rotation. A damping ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inner side of the disk minimizes resonance.
Balanced Connection
The Pro-Ject XA B (Pick it PRO B) turntable features a balanced output on a 5 pin DIN connector and a MM sound cartridge Pick it PRO Balanced. This provides balanced signal transmission, eliminating unwanted noise and interference.
Record Clamp Included
