Pro-ject X1 B (Pick It S2 MM) - vinyl turntable with passive drive and manual control. It comes with a Pick It S2 MM cartridge. The main feature of the device, as well as other models of X series, is the balanced output on a 5-pin mini-XLR connector. Using a balanced connection allows you to improve the signal-to-noise ratio and make the sound more detailed. However, this requires a phono stage with a balanced input.

The Pro-Ject X1 B (Pick It S2) also features a traditional RCA output for compatibility with all phono preamplifiers. A wide range of symmetrical phono cables with different connectors are available for all phono preamplifiers. If you want to use the X1 B with the Phono Box S3 B, you will need a Phono Mini XLR/Mini XLR cable. Pair your X1 B with one of the new balanced phono boxes and get fully balanced signal transfer to your preamplifier. Azimuth and VTA adjustments are provided, allowing you to fit different cartridges to your turntable if you wish.
Designed as a one-piece cabinet without a resonant neck, the Pro-ject X1 B is available preloaded with a high-quality Pick it S2 MM cartridge. Its super stiff and perfectly damped design ensures perfect tracking of the record groove. 8.6” carbon-aluminum tonearm. Bearing - stainless steel with soft brass bushing and Teflon mirrors along with a new motor suspension for better separation of motor vibrations to the tonearm and chassis ensure minimal noise.
