The Dark Side of the Moon turntable features an original LED rainbow backlight with dimming function for creating iconic visual effects when playing your vinyl. Even a white light beam appears, activated by an extended on/off lever. The result is a flawless tribute to the iconic vinyl cover that has become almost as famous as its musical content.
For Pro-Ject, it was clear that a turntable had to be created based on this work of art, reproducing the dynamics and colors of the original album. The result is an exceptional turntable like never before seen. Engineers managed to preserve the main aspects of the artistic design while incorporating high-quality materials.
The design inspired by the Dark Side of the Moon artwork is maintained throughout the turntable, expressed only through high-quality components. The triangular plate reflects the album's triangular dispersion prism, with a solid aluminum sub-platter supporting the 10mm thick glass construction. Like the album, this deck complements visual effects with material of exceptional quality.
TDSOTM Turntable Weight
This glass turntable weight is the finishing touch for the TDSOTM Special Edition turntable, ensuring a secure grip on the record. Turntable weights are used to secure the vinyl record being played to the turntable platter, improving the player's sound characteristics in terms of synchronization and sound depth.
The precision belt-drive turntable provides two rotation speeds, 33 and 45 RPM, with electronic speed control. Pro-Ject supplies a seven-inch single adapter for owners of albums like "Money" or "Us And Them".
In addition to the unique visual effects, Dark Side of the Moon turntable owners receive new technical solutions, including an 8.6-inch tonearm made of acrylic and black aluminum, equipped with anti-skate protection. The turntable also features the Pick it PRO Special Edition cartridge specially tuned for the Dark Side of the Moon turntable, ensuring users can experience top performance right out of the box.
