This manual vinyl player has a simple and reliable design, providing high-quality sound. Based on the award-winning EISA The Classic model, the main enhancement is the auxiliary plate similar to the top-end "175 Vienna Philharmonic Recordplayer" model. The player utilizes thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) dampers for efficient vibration isolation of various structural components.
The Pro-Ject The Classic turntable features a new 9-inch tonearm with a bearing made of hardened polished brass spindle in a Teflon tube. The floating suspension with TPE balls (6 pieces) between the chassis and the top aluminum and MDF plate, height-adjustable damped supports, carbon and aluminum tonearm. The bearing of the cardan type provides precise movement, allowing the input of the connecting cable in the middle of the tube for freer tonearm movement.
The counterweight is equipped with a TPE damper, reducing resonance vibrations affecting the cartridge by 50%. The heavy aluminum platter is designed with modern thermoplastic elastomers to damp resonances. The specially machined aluminum alloy platter has damping with TPE polymer for excellent damping properties. The sub-platter and main bearing design is similar to the Debut model, with a hardened steel bearing, bronze sleeve, and Teflon coating for smooth and quiet operation.
The tonearm and cartridge settings for azimuth and vertical angle (VTA) are unique for models in this price category, simplifying cartridge selection. The Pro-Ject The Classic also features height-adjustable damped supports. The turntable comes with a premium Connect it E cable and a dust cover.
