The Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources power supply unit is designed to simultaneously connect up to six compatible devices. These can be five signal sources from the Box Design series and a turntable. Using the Power Box DS3 Sources will significantly reduce the number of sockets required to connect the Pro-Ject system.
The Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources power supply is manufactured based on a powerful toroidal transformer. It is shielded to protect against electrical interference. The filtering capacitor capacity is 10,000 µF for overload reserve and stable operation of connected devices. The model uses separate stabilized sources for output voltages of 2 x 9 V (2 A), 3 x 18 V (1 A), and 15 V (0.5 A). The use of a linear power supply will further improve the sound quality of Pro-Ject components.
The soft start function in the Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources prevents current surge at the output when turned on. This makes the device's operation most reliable, especially when fully loaded.
The trigger output of the Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources allows you to control the power-on of compatible devices. When the unit is turned on, all components connected to this output, including those not powered by the Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources, will switch to operational mode simultaneously. System shutdown will also be simultaneous.
The Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources come with connector cables compatible with Box Design model sockets. Use them to supply voltage to the system components. Standard power adapters for devices connected to the Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources are no longer needed.
