The Studio One Artist music production software included with the ATOM SQ allows you to compose, record, and produce music without the distraction of instruments or limitations on the number of tracks. The easy-to-learn and intuitive drag-and-drop workflow, along with the powerful Studio One tools, will help you work faster than ever before. The software also includes two carefully curated loop libraries with custom Impact XT kits.
Studio One Artist now allows you to use your favorite third-party VST and AU effect plugins and virtual instruments. Additionally, there is full support for Studio One Remote, which can be used as a second screen or as a Studio One control on an iPad or Android tablet.
Ableton Live
The ATOM SQ is also a unique Ableton Live controller designed for production and live performances. You can launch clips and scenes during performances, select devices and edit parameters, navigate tracks and scenes, control the volume, panning, and send levels of each track, and program your drums in Ableton with the ATOM SQ.
With the included Ableton Live Lite, you can start creating right away, as it includes all the essential workflows, instruments, and effects needed for recording songs, developing skills with the controller, and further music production.
MCU, HUI, and MIDI Modes
These modes allow for easy control of your favorite DAW or virtual instrument. You can freely assign instrument parameters to different hardware controllers so that rotary encoders can control everything from filter cutoff to drum tuning for maximum programming convenience.
You can also customize the RGB LEDs to color-code loops and samples as you see fit. The ATOM SQ LCD screen displays context-dependent information and uses a dynamic button system that changes functions depending on the task at hand.
