One of the technologies used in the Blackstone satellites is called Time Lens, which combines two approaches for the best alignment of the tweeter and mid-range/woofer driver. The tweeter is placed in a horn-shaped structure formed on the satellite's front panel. The horn structure helps align the acoustic centers of the drivers in a single vertical plane, ensuring precise phase alignment. Additionally, the tweeter horn acts as an acoustic lens, controlling the tweeter's directionality and aligning the satellite's frequency response within the tweeter and mid-range/woofer crossover region. The Time Lens technology results in smoother frequency response and a more precise, stable soundstage.

The center channel speaker is equipped with two mid-range/woofer drivers to handle the maximum load during movie soundtracks playback. The system design allows for various placement options, including wall mounting using swivel brackets.
One of the most impressive features of the system is its ability to create an almost infinite sound space. The system performs admirably with music — the sound flows freely and comfortably. While there is some slight coloration in the sound, it is minimal for a system of this type. The tonal balance of the satellites is slightly enhanced in the high frequency range and upper mid-range, giving a bright sound. The subwoofer requires minimal adjustments, mainly for proper integration with the main speakers.
