PMC 8-2 SUB is a true low-frequency monitor, just like PMC8 SUB. Thanks to being equipped with the same DSP processor and easily integrating with surround sound and immersive systems, the PMC8-2 SUB outperforms its younger sibling, providing a higher maximum SPL power down to 25 Hz.
With the same dimensions as the PMC8-2 midfield monitor, the two eight-inch low-frequency drivers of the PMC8-2 SUB come with independent Class D amplifiers with a power of 400 W. The same setup parameters are available as in the PMC8 SUB, which can also be accessed on the rear panel of the speaker or through the SoundAlign browser-based software on a tablet, smartphone, or computer connected to the local network.
The PMC8-2 subwoofer can be used as a standalone subwoofer for multi-channel and immersive sound systems or as an XBD cabinet with PMC6-2 or PMC8-2 s, creating a system of stunning power and dynamic range. The subwoofer is available in both left and right configurations (PMC8-2 SUB-L or PMC8-2 SUB-R), allowing the low-frequency drivers to be placed on the outer edges of the stereo system according to the placement of the main monitors.
