Custom-made 6-inch bass driver with a 20mm excursion is specifically designed to integrate with our latest ATL bass-loading and Laminair airflow technologies. This combination outperforms most 8-inch monitors in terms of low-frequency amplification, excursion, dynamics, and low distortion levels at all levels. High-quality high-precision soft fabric dome tweeter with a 1-inch thickness and a shallow waveguide, providing wide, even-toned dispersion and flawless imaging. Both low-frequency and high-frequency drivers are precisely and individually controlled by a pair of 200W class D amplifiers with extremely low distortion and high damping factor.
In both portrait and landscape orientations, the enhanced DSP processor PMC6 automatically adjusts the crossover, ensuring optimal tonal accuracy, phase, and imaging.
The monitor can be calibrated using controls on the rear panel or with the intuitive SoundAlign software available through a browser.
The PMC6 can be upgraded by adding an additional PMC8 module to create a full-fledged standalone PMC6 XBD system. Activating the DSP "XBD" mode ensures perfect interaction between the two devices, creating a clean low-frequency extension down to 25Hz.
