The PMC6-2 is packed with innovations and has the same sound characteristics as larger famous monitors, making it ideal for small studios or for use in large immersive systems where its stunning resolution allows for making important mixing decisions with absolute confidence.
This 3-way active monitor combines two custom 6-inch low-frequency drivers with ultra-long sound transmission, a 2-inch mid-frequency driver with a soft dome PMC55, and a high-precision one-inch soft dome tweeter. The distinctive "N-compass" PMC55 waveguide enhances wide dispersion and remarkable mid-frequency driver projection. Combined with the high-performance tweeter, it results in an ultra-wide and stable image with smooth and natural room response. Each bass driver is individually powered by a modern 400W class D amplifier and easily integrates with our complex and high-precision DSP-based crossovers.
In portrait or landscape orientation, the enhanced DSP processor of the PMC6-2 automatically adjusts the transition, providing optimal tone, phase, and imaging accuracy.
The monitor can be calibrated using controls on the rear panel or with the intuitive SoundAlign software, accessible through a web browser.
The PMC6-2 can be upgraded by adding an additional PMC8-2 module to create a full autonomous PMC6-2 XBD system. Activating the "XBD" DSP mode ensures perfect interaction between the two devices, creating a clean extension of the low-frequency range down to 25Hz.
