The PMC15 is a large-scale monitoring system in a compact form factor, designed for small to medium music studios, mixing rooms, post-production for films and TV shows, mastering, and streaming. Perfect for both stereo and immersive monitoring, the system can be configured in an XBD setup with two cabinets to increase the system's scale and low-frequency extension.
The PMC15, housed in the latest version of the ATL cabinet with LaminairX ventilation holes, features a 34mm soft dome tweeter, a new PMC75v3 mid-range driver with exclusive a-void damping, and an innovative 15-inch low-frequency driver custom-designed for this system. This combination provides improved low-frequency characteristics and control typically found in much larger cabinets and 18-inch systems.
Power is delivered by the rack-mountable DSP/amplifier PMC master36, utilizing ultra-transparent Class D amplification delivering 800 watts to both tweeter and mid-range drivers, and 1000 watts to the bass driver. The integrated DSP provides precise digital crossovers optimized for the individual PMC15 drivers, transparent excursion limiting for system protection, and a comprehensive room optimization equalizer. The system accepts analog and digital inputs and can be controlled via a standard local network using the browser-based SoundAlign2 interface.
