The PMC10-4 subwoofer provides powerful low-frequency characteristics with extremely low distortion levels thanks to its four long-throw drivers, scalable integration up to 10-4 XBD, and precise amplification using a 3kW DSP system. The PMC10-4 SUB is a dual-purpose device that can either function as an independent low-frequency subwoofer in addition to any PMC monitoring system or to enhance the main full-range PMC10-4 monitor, creating a two-cabinet PMC10-4 XBD system. Like its siblings, the PMC10-4 SUB is equipped with the latest generation ATL™ transmission line enclosure with LaminairXTM air ventilation system.
Featuring four innovative 10-inch low-frequency drivers developed specifically, with a wide frequency range and excellent reproduction of low frequencies across a remarkably wide bandwidth, resulting in extremely low distortion levels at all monitoring levels.
When integrated into the XBD two-cabinet system, the PMC10-4 SUB is powered by two power20 amplifiers and easily controlled by the existing master36 module. In standalone configuration, the 10-4 subwoofer is managed by the DSP/amplifier master36, outputting 1000W to each of the two subwoofers. Meanwhile, the connected power20 amplifier provides an additional 1000W to each of the remaining pair - ensuring exceptional control, power reserve, and accuracy of low-frequency signals.
Both electronic units utilize ultra-transparent class D amplification, while the built-in DSP in the master36 provides transparent limiting to protect the system, precise room optimization equalizer, and digital high and low-pass filters specifically tailored for the PMC10-4.
The master36 supports both analog and digital inputs and can be controlled via a standard local network through the SoundAlign2 browser interface. The backlit logo on the front panel provides clear and intuitive system status indication.
