The PMC10-4 delivers exceptional dynamic range and deep low-frequency extension combined with outstanding resolution, finesse, and micro-detailing. Four built-in 10-inch low-frequency drivers with super-long excursion work in perfect harmony, powered by the latest generation ATL transmission line technology from PMC. Thanks to the LaminairX air ventilation system, the result is bass of immense scale, yet fast, controlled, and tonally precise.
The low-frequency system easily integrates into the proven mid-high frequency architecture of PMC: a 34mm soft-dome tweeter and PMC75v3 mid-range driver, reinforced with PMC's proprietary n-compass waveguide. This provides controlled dispersion, consistent phase coherence, and tonal consistency across the listening area, allowing confident decision-making even at extreme playback frequencies.
Each PMC10-4 enclosure is driven by the Master36 DSP/amplifier unit, where DSP accuracy ensures high performance. Optimized crossovers, transparent system protection, and comprehensive room equalization are realized through the PMC SoundAlign2 interface, providing precise alignment without compromising signal integrity. Since each LF driver can handle up to 1000W, two drivers are powered directly from the Master36, while the remaining pair are driven by the additional power20 amplifier. Together, the system delivers high-efficiency Class D amplification with 5600W per channel effortlessly. The electronics are unified through PMC's masterlink proprietary connection, and a discreet glowing logo under the mid-range driver provides feedback on the system status.
