The PMC10 is a large-scale monitoring system in a compact form factor designed for small and medium music studios, mixing rooms, post-production facilities for film and television, mastering, and broadcast streaming. Ideal for both stereo monitoring and immersive monitoring, the system can be configured in XBD with two cabinets to increase system scale and enhance low-frequency response.
The PMC10, housed in the latest version of the ATL cabinet with LaminairX ventilation slots, features a 34mm soft dome tweeter, handmade mid-frequency driver PMC75v3 with exclusive a-void damping, and an innovative 10-inch low-frequency driver custom-designed for this system. This combination provides improved low-frequency characteristics and control typically found in larger enclosures and 12-inch systems.
Power is provided by the rack-mountable DSP/amplifier PMC master36, utilizing ultra-transparent Class D amplification delivering 800W to both the tweeter and midrange drivers, and 1000W to the woofer. The integrated DSP ensures precise digital crossovers optimized for the individual drivers of the PMC10, transparent excursion limiting for system protection, and a comprehensive room optimization equalizer. The system accepts both analog and digital inputs and can be controlled via a standard local network using the browser-based SoundAlign2 interface.
