AV-receiver Onkyo TX-RZ50 features a set of the most advanced functions and can be used in installed home systems. Onkyo TX-RZ50 is equipped with immense power for confident control of audio systems. Its massive chassis is filled with custom components, tested and selected in accordance with reference standards, providing large currents for such penetrating sound that can be felt emotionally and physically. With support for up to 7.2.2 channels of 3D surround sound, including the new IMAX Enhanced format, and intelligent sound processing capable of revitalizing old stereo music recordings, the receiver can successfully become the center of all home entertainment.
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats allow sound to be displayed anywhere in 3D space, with effects moving from speaker to speaker throughout the room, surrounding the audience while watching the latest movies and games. With an 11.2-channel pre-amplifier output and 11-channel processing, you can enjoy 3D sound through a 7.2.4 speaker setup (an external two-channel power amplifier is required) or use built-in amplifiers for 5.2.4 or 7.2.2 configurations. Watch classic movies through your system with top speaker channels using Dolby Surround or DTS Neural:X, which extract signals from old soundtracks, mixing them spatially for playback.
When playing Dolby-formatted recordings, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer can be used to provide fuller immersion in the sound field by creating virtual surround and upper effects from traditional speaker setups without the need to connect additional upper speakers. The Vocal Enhancer technology solves the problem of poorly audible dialogues in TV programs and movies. Implemented on a DSP processor, the algorithm highlights speech frequencies, allowing you to raise or lower their level using buttons on the remote control or controls on the front panel.
AV-receiver Onkyo TX-RZ50 can be integrated into an existing Sonos Home Sound System or serve as the beginning of a new system simply by pairing with a Sonos Connect device. The AV-receiver becomes connected to the Sonos ecosystem, waking up, changing inputs, and playing music at the desired volume level through commands from the Sonos app.
Onkyo TX-RZ50 features HDMI chips from Nuvoton Technology. The corresponding HDMI connectors have a 40 Gbps bandwidth. The AV-receiver is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and three outputs, supporting HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dynamic HDR. HDMI inputs 1 to 3 and Main/Sub output support 8K/60p (4:2:0/10-bit), while the rest support 4K/60Hz, HDCP 2.2/HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG. The Main HDMI Out output is compatible with the eARC interface, which supports the transmission of HD audio from an eARC-compatible TV to the AV-receiver via an HDMI cable. It works with 3D audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio - lossless audio codecs. High-bitrate video and object-oriented audio, obtained through streaming from a Smart TV or smartphone app, or connected media adapter, can now be decoded and amplified by the AV-receiver in its original quality.
