The Novation Bass Station II is an analog mono-synthesizer based on the classic original Bass Station synthesizer, but in a more modern version. It features two filters, two oscillators, plus a third sub-oscillator. The device has patch saving capability and a fully analog effects section. Add a step sequencer, arpeggiator, full-size keys, and a powerful modulation section, and you have a synthesizer that is specifically designed for bass but capable of much more. In addition to the well-known and popular filters of the previous model, the Bass Station II also offers a new unique "Acid" filter, which now joins the original "Classic" filters of the Bass Station synthesizer.
The Bass Station II synthesizer is fully compatible with MIDI devices, with MIDI I/O, which can be connected via a 5-pin DIN port. Additionally, the synthesizer can be connected to a PC or laptop via the MIDI or USB port. Musicians can also connect external devices and route them through the Bass Station II's analog filter and effects. With the addition of a step sequencer for professionals, an arpeggiator, a 25-key synthesizer keyboard with the standard Novation aftertouch effect, and a powerful modulation section, DJs and sound producers have at their disposal a truly authentic bass synthesizer, made for the most discerning music enthusiasts in the world.
