The customizable assignment options allow for modulation of sound pitch, cutoff frequency, vibrato, and other parameters. The bright color display 1280 x 480, customizable eight knobs, 4D encoder, and pads provide performance, composition, and arrangement control in DAWs. The updated RGB Light Guide backlighting for keys, buttons, encoders, and pitch and modulation wheels simplify working with tonality, chords, scales, as well as allowing for zone and switch assignment.
The updated interface with superior ergonomics makes working with the keyboard easier, and the durable and reliable housing ensures long-lasting use. Two USB-C ports on the back provide power and MIDI transmission. Separate MIDI input and output jacks expand capabilities and allow for working with analog equipment. And four 1/4" jacks are for connecting sustain pedals, expression pedals, and two assignable parameters. It comes with Komplete 14 Select software, which includes 19 premium-class instruments and effects, 15,000 sounds, eight expansions, and over 40 GB of content.
The NKS standard now offers even deeper control over NI Komplete and other compatible instruments. Users can browse preset libraries directly on the keyboard. The actual parameter names are displayed on the screen along with corresponding controls, and a choice between an optimized mode (easy access to most important parameters for tweaking) and editing mode with multiple parameter pages for in-depth editing. The model comes with a software package including Komplete 14 Select/Kontrol, Stradivari Cello, Hypha, Guitar Rig LE, iZotope Elements Suite, and Ableton Live Lite.
