The Mytek Digital Brooklyn AMP is a benchmark stereo power amplifier in class D, built on the "dual mono" scheme, capable of delivering 300 watts at 4 ohms.
Features:
- Frequency range: 10 Hz - 30 kHz
- Signal-to-noise ratio (A-weighted): 121 dB
- Gain: 23 dB/29 dB
- Protective circuits: protection against short circuits, against DC, against low voltage, against overload, against temperature rise.
The amplifier features Mytek's signature sound - musical, detailed, and transparent. It is designed for use as a stand-alone power amplifier or as an addition to the Brooklyn DAC for a complete modern system of streaming digital broadcasting and vinyl playback. Mytek engineers, together with leading designer Michal Jurewicz, have demonstrated that a carefully executed class D can sound like triode, with excellent midrange and depth, while maintaining deep bass, fast transient response, and detail. In this project, Mytek's extensive experience in DSD, technology similar to digital amplifiers, was utilized.
At the back, in addition to XLR and RCA connectors and speaker outputs, there is also a block of two-position switches that can determine active inputs (balanced or unbalanced) and set the amplifier mode (stereo, mono for bi-amping speaker connection, or mono in bridged mode). The gain can be increased by 6 dB, triggering on signal, and firmware update via USB port using a PC.
Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II
The Mytek Audio Brooklyn Bridge II is a compact all-in-one device that combines a Roon Core server with streamer capabilities, DAC, preamplifier with MM/MC phono input, and headphone amplifier.
Features:
- Bluetooth 5.0 support
- DAC built on an 8-channel set of ESS Sabre ES9028Pro chips
- Support for DSD256, DXD, and MQA
- Digital audio PCM can reach 32 bit/384 kHz
Using only an internet connection, the Brooklyn Bridge II Roon Core can provide its owner with a sufficient amount of music. A two-month Roon subscription is included, with access to major streaming platforms such as Tidal or Qobuz. Audio files from NAS network drives or built-in memory can also be played (with options for 64 GB or 4 TB capacity).
Additionally, the system features Bluetooth 5 module and operates on Mytek OS-based Linux, using an embedded computer with Intel i5 processor as a true music server. The DAC is built on an 8-channel set of ESS Sabre ES9028Pro chips in a proprietary Harmonic Audio Tuning (HAT) configuration developed for the flagship Empire Streamer. The resolution of processed digital audio PCM can reach 32 bit/384 kHz, with support for DSD256, DXD, and MQA. The digital section has separate linear power sources based on large toroidal transformers.
Package includes:
- Power amplifier
- Streamer
- Power cable
