The transducer driver's performance is crucial in delivering the superior sound quality that MOONDROP products are known for. The NEKOCAKE headphone features a large 13mm lightweight titanium-dome composite dynamic driver that has been finely tuned for exceptional sound quality. This results in enhanced tone, timbre, and bass response.
The 13mm dynamic driver is comprised of a composite ultra-thin flexible suspension diaphragm with a titanium-plated dome, providing more treble detail than standard large dynamic drivers. The earphones incorporate the Daikaku ultra-thin CCAW voice coil imported from Japan to minimize suspension system mass, allowing for faster transient response and improved detailed performance. The magnetic circuit system has been upgraded with a larger magnetic circuit structure and a N52 neodymium magnet for superior dynamic performance.
ANC Digital Active Noise Cancellation
NEKOCAKE is equipped with ANC digital active noise cancellation, which detects ambient environmental noise through a feedforward microphone, digitally processes and compensates for it, and then transmits the modified signal to the dynamic driver to cancel out external noise.
