At the heart of the sound is a 50mm driver with Ultra-Linear Technology (ULT) developed by Sony. Its dome is made of PEN material with titanium coating, and the composite diaphragm is equipped with a two-layer suspension made of liquid silicone gel. The special angled placement of the driver creates an expanded soundstage, giving music volume and depth.
The headphone's magnetic system is built on a double internal-external scheme using N55 neodymium magnets. Thanks to optimization using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), a peak magnetic induction of 1.85 T is achieved in the magnetic gap, providing accuracy and dynamic reproduction.
The acoustic characteristics of the model are impressive: a frequency range from 20 Hz to 34 kHz meets the IEC61094 standard, sensitivity is 109 dB/Vrms at a frequency of 1 kHz, and impedance is 32 Ω ± 15%. The percentage of non-linear distortion does not exceed 0.1% at a sound pressure level of 94 dB at 1 kHz. The sound profile is tuned to the VDSF curve, guaranteeing neutrality and accuracy of reproduction without excessive coloration.
