The M-Audio Oxygen Pro 25 is a professional MIDI keyboard from the Oxygen Pro series, equipped with 25 full-size semi-weighted keys, allowing comfortable performance of various parts. The device also offers features for controlling the main parameters of various sound programs (DAWs). Here is the Auto Mapping technology that can automatically reassign all controls according to the program interface.
The keys have precise velocity sensitivity, aftertouch algorithm, and have multiple modes of operation, such as one-note chord performance and note repeat. There is an arpeggiator with multiple types of sequences, octave selection, Gate and Swing functions. There are also interesting Smart Chord and Smart Scale modes that help compose and record melodies in a variety of tonalities and scales. For control, performance, and navigation, there are 19 buttons, 8 knobs, 2 wheels, fader, and encoder. For rhythm parts and sample playback, there are 16 pads with RGB backlighting. Finally, on the front panel, there is a miniature LCD display showing the names and values of selected parameters.
For connection to a computer and power supply, there is a USB-B port. There is an input on a 1/4" Jack TRS connector for connecting a sustain pedal, which is purchased separately. For sending MIDI signals to an external device, there is a MIDI output on a standard 5-pin connector. The package includes a USB cable, as well as license keys for Pro Tools | First M-Audio Edition and Ableton Live Lite software programs and virtual instruments and samples from Air Music Tech and MPC Beats companies.
