The Loewe Inicio is a bookshelf version in the new flagship line of high-end passive speakers from the German brand Loewe.
Design and Construction
The Loewe Inicio is housed in a compact yet solid enclosure, handcrafted at the factory in Kronach, Germany. Unlike the larger floor-standing model Grand Inicio, this speaker is designed to be placed on stands or shelves, providing monitor accuracy in medium-sized rooms.
Technological Features
Despite its compact size, the Inicio houses components of uncompromising quality:
Mid/Bass driver: a 6.5-inch driver from the Danish company Purifi Audio (USHINDI series). These drivers are considered among the best in the world thanks to their ultra-low harmonic distortion technology, providing an incredibly clean and natural midrange.
High-frequency section: AMT (Air Motion Transformer) ribbon tweeter with powerful neodymium magnets. It delivers crystal-clear high-frequency detail without the sharpness typical of conventional dome tweeters.
Waveguide: The tweeter is integrated into a precision-calculated aluminum waveguide, optimizing the sound's directional pattern.
Specifications and Connectivity
The system boasts an impressive 200W power output (at 4 ohms) and a frequency range from 45 Hz to 22,000 Hz. The rear panel features high-quality gold-plated terminals supporting banana plug connections, ensuring a reliable contact without signal loss.
The Loewe Inicio pairs perfectly with the Loewe Multi.room Amp amplifier, creating a compact yet extremely powerful and musical system for those who refuse to compromise on sound quality for the sake of space-saving.
