The KRK S12 is an active subwoofer designed to expand the lower frequency range when used in combination with KRK studio monitors such as Rockit, VXT, and other 4-8 inch models. The 12-inch composite driver with a 2-inch voice coil delivers 220 watts of power. This model offers a very natural, flat, clean, and clear sound even at high sound pressure levels (up to 112 dB).
The subwoofer is housed in a durable streamlined MDF enclosure with a modern design, featuring a protective grille over the driver. It includes an active crossover with a switchable frequency, input sensitivity control, and polarity switch (0/180 degrees). The wide range of connectivity options makes this model convenient for use in any studio. You can connect via XLR, RCA, or 1/4-inch jack inputs. The bypass function allows you to bypass the subwoofer, which can be controlled with a footswitch. The model is presented in black with a vinyl finish.
