The Klipsch The Sevens speakers are designed with a neat retro-element style and come with removable grilles with magnetic mounting. These speakers feature a 1-inch LTS compression tweeter with Linear Travel Suspension technology and a titanium dome. The tweeter is housed in the signature Tractrix horn, ensuring precise directivity and detailed sound. Handling the mid/low range is a 6.5-inch speaker with a long-throw fiber composite diffuser.

The active speakers have Class D amplifiers with low noise levels, providing 100 W per channel (bi-amping connection, two 60-watt drivers for mid/low and two 20-watt tweeters). The passive speaker connects to the active one with a special cable with 4-pin connectors. The Klipsch The Sevens feature an MM phono preamp for connecting turntables, a high-performance DSP processor, a dynamic bass EQ for bass enhancement, and a DAC supporting PCM up to 24 bit/192 kHz via USB input. The model also includes a Bluetooth receiver supporting AAC and aptX HD codecs for wireless audio streaming from Bluetooth devices.
For connecting portable sources, there is a 3.5mm Aux jack. An optical input and USB port are available for connecting to a computer. An active subwoofer can also be connected to the Klipsch The Sevens using the Sub Out output. A small standard remote control is provided for remote control of the speaker system.
The cabinet has a rear-firing port with a Tractrix horn-shaped output tube built into its back. There are two finish options available (natural walnut veneer or matte black surface). The top panel of the active speaker features two miniature metal "wheels" for volume adjustment and source selection. The rear panel of the active speaker includes a panel with a range of connectors, including an HDMI port with ARC support, ideal for connecting to a TV.
