KEF LS50 Wireless II - active wireless speakers, the second generation of LS50 Wireless active monitors. The speakers have become more powerful, with significantly expanded streaming capabilities, including support for AirPlay 2 and Chromecast. The speakers now have wireless connection between them, as was previously available in the KEF LSX. The model provides improved sound quality, exceptionally high connection reliability, expanded control capabilities, and the widest range of sound customization options.

Wireless Everything
The KEF LS50 Wireless II model is a top-of-the-line self-contained Hi-Fi audio system with wireless streaming capabilities (24 bit / 384 kHz, MQA, DSD256), support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast, and the ability to connect wired to a TV, game console, or turntable.
The built-in 100-watt Class AB amplifier works on the tweeter, while the MF/LF driver is driven by a 280-watt Class D amplifier. The integrated proprietary sound processor known as the Music Integrity Engine allows you to get the most out of the Coaxial driver and Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) disc.

The Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT) eliminates distortions for a cleaner and more natural sound, while the 12th generation Uni-Q driver with MAT driver array provides less coloration, lower distortion, and a more transparent and natural sound. This allows the sound to be evenly distributed throughout the room.
12th Generation Uni-Q Driver with MAT
The LS50 Wireless II speakers, like the passive KEF LS50 Meta, use the updated 12th generation Uni-Q driver with Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT). The Uni-Q driver has been designed based on the Uni-Q used in KEF's R-series speakers with modifications that cater to the system's construction.
Fully Wireless or Wired Connection between Speakers
The two speakers can be connected wirelessly or with a cable. For easy setup in wireless mode, both LS50 Wireless II speakers are pre-coupled at the factory. Wireless transmission is completely independent of your Wi-Fi signal. In wireless mode, the sound will be converted to 96 kHz / 24 bit.
The speakers can be connected with a cable using a CAT-6 cable connected to the corresponding ports on the rear panel. In this mode, all audio signals are resampled to 192 kHz / 24 bit for wired connection.
Streaming - AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, ROON
KEF LS50 Wireless II speakers support AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, ROON (firmware update required), UPnP, Bluetooth 4.2.
Support for Digital Formats
The speakers support PCM 24/384 and DSD256, plus decode MQA when streaming. They are Roon Ready certified and can be controlled through the KEF Connect app, which includes major music streaming services such as Tidal, Amazon Music, Qobuz, Deezer, Internet Radio, and also support Spotify Connect, MQA, and Roon.
Simple Multi-Room
Using KEF LS50 Wireless II with Airplay 2, Chromecast, or Roon, you can stream audio to multiple speakers throughout your home simultaneously. With multiple LS50 Wireless II speakers, you can create a simple, high-performance multi-room system.
Connect Anything

If you need more bass, you can connect one or two subwoofers to the speakers. Each speaker (main or auxiliary) has a subwoofer output (RCA Phono).
