KEF KF92 is a compact active subwoofer that comes with a sealed enclosure, two drivers, and a power output of 1000W.
The device features two opposing 9-inch (225mm) drivers made with a combination of aluminum and paper, which is similar to the R400b subwoofer found in the R series. Its enclosure houses two 500W Class D amplifiers, and it is capable of reaching a sound pressure level of 110dB, ensuring powerful bass even at high volumes.
One of the standout features of the KEF KF92 is its iBX technology, which maximizes the potential of the driver and enhances bass depth. Additionally, the Music Integrity Engine algorithm adjusts the sound based on the subwoofer's placement to optimize performance. Thanks to the unique driver positioning, large coils, and powerful extended magnets, the KF92 can reproduce frequencies as low as 11Hz.
The rear panel of the KF92 is equipped with control settings and connectors. It also includes a large heat sink radiator, designed to keep the subwoofer operating under optimal conditions at all times.
